The Soccer tournament at the 2010 Games will be enhanced by the addition of two new teams, Dominican Soccer Club (from Marin County) and Redwood City Soccer Club. Returning will be last year’s champions, Reno United, last year’s runners-up, Portola Valley, third placed Maritimo, and fourth placed Grasshoppers, as well as Azteca and Inter-Marin. Referees this year will be Jesse Nagra, from Dublin, CA, and Richard Wendling from Nevada City, CA, both highly experienced refs.
Four games are played on Saturday to determine who will advance to the Medal rounds, and the Consolation tournament, which is two games between the four first round losers. Sunday's agenda calls for two games involving Saturday's winners, plus a game with the two Consolation winners from Saturday. Then to the Bronze Medal game, and finally to the Finals to determine the Gold and Silver medal winners.

12 noon, Saturday – Game 1 – Reno United vs. Inter-Marin
12.45 pm Saturday – Game 2 – Dominican vs. Portola Valley
1.30 pm Saturday – Game 3 – Azteca vs. Maritimo
2.15 pm Saturday – Game 4 – Redwood City vs. Grasshoppers
